Is the app exclusive for people with ADHD or Autism?

No, but it was designed with them in mind. Anyone who struggles with productive anxiety, information overload, or difficulty prioritizing will benefit from O Farol's clean interface and restrictive methodology.

How does Artificial Intelligence help me day to day?

In the Pro plan, AI acts as an executive function assistant. If you have a goal but don't know how to start, AI suggests breaking that goal into 3 actionable micro-tasks, eliminating the initial barrier of procrastination.

What exactly does the Compass do?

The Compass is your executive function assistant. When you have a big goal (like "Clean the house") and don't know where to start, it uses Artificial Intelligence to break that goal into 3 small, actionable micro-steps. The goal is to get you out of paralysis and into motion.

Are my data and goals used to train the AI?

No. Your goals are processed anonymously and securely only to generate tasks at that moment. We don't use your personal life to train public models. What happens in Farol, stays in Farol.

What if the Compass suggests tasks that don't make sense?

You are the Captain, the Compass is just the navigator. If the suggestions don't please you, you can edit any task manually or ask it to "Recalculate Route" (regenerate). The final control is always yours.

I feel like I'm "cheating" by asking AI to think for me...

This is a common feeling, but it's not true. Using the Compass is not cheating; it's accessibility. Just like someone uses glasses to see better, you use the Compass to focus better. It takes care of the structure so you can spend your energy on execution.

Why should I stop if I'm managing to produce?

For the neurodivergent brain, the cost of switching tasks (context switching) is extremely high. The Pier serves to "clear" the mental cache between one goal and another. Stopping for 1 minute now prevents you from freezing or suffering burnout in two hours.

What do I have to do at the Pier?

Nothing complex. The Pier offers micro-rituals of 60 to 120 seconds, like a visual breathing exercise (following a pulsing light) or just listening to brown noise to calm your thoughts. It's a moment of silence, not effort.

Am I required to enter the Pier every time I finish a task?

Not at all. Farol is a low-pressure tool. We'll suggest a pause when you complete an important cycle, but you can always click "Continue voyage" and skip straight to the next goal.

Does the Pier work if I'm in a hurry?

Sometimes, 1 minute of breathing saves 20 minutes of anxiety-induced procrastination. We recommend testing the Pier precisely on the most chaotic days, as that's when your brain most needs "grounding" to not overheat.

What is the 'Achievement Beacon' in the Premium plan?

It's our long-term gamification tool. You set a bigger goal (like a trip or a purchase) and, as you complete your daily tasks, that achievement gains light and color visually in the app.

Can I use O Farol for free forever?

Yes! The Basic plan is free and offers the fundamental tools to organize your day. History is limited to 7 days, which is ideal for those who want to focus on immediate progress.

How does cancellation work?

Cancellation is simple and can be done at any time in your settings panel. There's no commitment. If you cancel a paid plan, you'll continue to have access to Pro/Premium features until the end of the already paid period.
